Plenary Lecture “Chromatin dynamics in real-time and at nanoscale resolution “
Kerstin Bystricky (Professor University of Toulouse; www.univ-tlse3.fr) leads the group 'Chromatin and gene expression' at the Centre de Biologie Integrative (CBI; http://cbi-toulouse.fr/eng/equipe-bystricky) since 2008. She obtained her PhD from the Pennsylvania State University in 1998 and held two postdoctoral positions in Switzerland before being appointed associate professor in Toulouse in 2004. She is an expert in chromatin biology and nuclear organization, internationally recognized for developing innovative live cell imaging approaches and studying regulation of transcription and DNA repair in yeast and human cancer cell lines.
